Jason is one of many Red Rangers in Ranger history and leader of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, who were chosen by Zordon to protect Earth from Rita Repulsa. He is one of many Red Rangers present for the fight for humanity that brings together Rangers new and old and villains of the past and present. The battle for earth rests on the shoulders of all of earth's defenders known as Power Rangers and Jason helps the newest Ranger leader adjust to not only being a ranger but a leader. Jason forms a bond with all the Rangers he hasn't met yet.
